Part-Time Tour Guide for Beijing tours, cultural programs, and China tours

Job Description:

The part-time tour guide will train and then lead CCC¡¯s tours in Beijing and possibly also tours in China. The guide is responsible for learning and delivering in-depth cultural information to customers, and is also responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of the tours. The guide must prepare before each tour by learning the necessary material, practicing that material during dry runs, following other seasoned tour guides to learn and observe, etc. The guide must be a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable representative of CCC during frequent interactions with customers. We have tours available weekdays, weekends, mornings, and evenings so we can work around your free time.

Required Qualifications:

* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Fluency in English (spoken and written)
* Good presentation skills and a commanding presence in front of a group
* Professionalism and reliability
* Knowledge of and/or ability to learn in-depth cultural information

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience as a teacher and/or presenter
* Minimum 5 years of working experience, especially working with westerners
* Strong interest in Chinese cultural programs

文化授课和旅游领队

职位描述：

* 利用节假日、周中和周末业余时间，担任全国文化旅游和考察的领队; 或北京文化游或活动的带队和翻译。

* 服务客人对象： 在华工作和生活的欧美籍人士; 国外商务考察代表团或政府访问团； 国际大公司的高层会议和参观团等。客人基本来自北美、欧洲或澳洲， 平均年龄在35－50岁。

* 本职位和一般意义上的导游不同，不需要导游证或导游经验， 公司会专门培训。

职位要求;

1. 突出的英文水平， 尤其强调接近双语的口语能力
2. 至少5年以上的工作经验，有外企、使馆或国际组织工作经验者优先
3. 对中国文化有浓厚的兴趣，具备归纳总结和编辑文化课题和演讲的能力。
4. 超强的沟通、组织和协调能力
5．性格外向，气质佳，有个人魅力和感染力。
